Former hostage Miya Shem shares her dream of becoming a mother: "I can cry when I talk about it, I'm dying to get married." She says that after seeing her life flash before her eyes, she realized that building a home "is continuity and the essence of life." In a video that garnered hundreds of thousands of views online, she honestly said she is already waiting for the person who will stand with her under the wedding canopy.
Former hostage Miya Shem shared on "The Daniel Doshi Podcast" her big dream of becoming a mother and building a home. "I can cry when I talk about it, I could get married tomorrow. I'm dying to get married. It's continuity and the essence of life. Especially after I saw them passing before my eyes on October 7 – I said that's my dream," she said. According to her, although she is not currently in a relationship, she is waiting for the person who will stand with her under the canopy. In a video that garnered hundreds of thousands of views, she noted that in the period after her return from captivity, "they didn't know how to approach this whole thing of me being in captivity. After they get to know me, it passes. It's part of me, there's nothing to do, can I erase it from my life?" As a reminder, about a year after returning from Hamas captivity, she got engaged to her partner Yinon Hasson in Caesarea, but four months after the engagement, the two separated. Now, Shem is looking forward and waiting for the next chapter in her life.
