Police officer Shani Amar, along with her partner, located her after an officer named Oshar reviewed security camera footage from many businesses and managed to trace her route. The elderly woman, Fredkin, was found in an unnatural position, with her head under a chair and her legs raised. A Magen David Adom team was called, her condition was defined as stable, and she was evacuated for medical treatment. The discovery ended four days of extensive searches involving police officers, volunteers, municipal inspectors, canine units, thermal drones, and a police helicopter. Amar, who has served in the police for 18 years, described the event as unusual and rare, emphasizing the joint effort of all parties that led to the return of the elderly woman to her family.
