Ministries recommend reducing the annual fee for foreign workers

The committee of directors-general of ministries recommended reducing the annual fee for foreign workers for small and medium-sized enterprises to 83%, as well as unifying application fees to 370 shekels instead of the current 1420, 1060, and 710 shekels in different sectors. It was recommended to charge the fee based on the worker's entry date.

The committee of directors-general of ministries for foreign workers recommended a significant reduction in the annual fee for small and medium-sized enterprises hiring foreign workers — to 83%. It also proposes unifying application fees: 370 shekels instead of the current 1420 shekels in the hotel sector, 1060 shekels in construction and industry, and 710 shekels in the agricultural sector. Additionally, it was recommended to charge the fee according to the worker's date of entry into Israel and the actual duration of their employment with the employer. These are recommendations that have yet to be approved.
