Maccabi Tel Aviv announced today (Wednesday) that it will mark 3 years since the October 7, 2023 disaster and the 'Swords of Iron' war with a moving tribute. The team's players will take to the field in the upcoming home match against Bnei Sakhnin wearing a special commemorative jersey in memory of 137 female and male fans of the club who were murdered and fell in the war. The jersey, based on the yellow home kit, will be adorned with a Star of David symbol composed of the names of the fallen. The club emphasized that the goal is to ensure their memory continues to live in the heart of the stands. In addition, a special memorial installation with the names of the 137 fallen will be erected outside Gate 10, allowing fans to stop, honor their memory, and light a candle.
