"Maa'ti": 2,200 violations and attacks by settlers in Ramallah since the beginning of 2026

The Palestine Information Center "Maa'ti" documented more than 2,200 violations and attacks by settlers in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate since the beginning of 2026, including 12 killings, 87 injuries, 864 assaults and rampages, 433 settlement activities, and 241 incursions, in addition to thefts, arson, and vandalism.

The Palestine Information Center "Maa'ti" documented more than 2,200 violations and attacks carried out by settlers in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate in the central occupied West Bank since the beginning of this year. The violations included 12 killings and 87 injuries, along with 864 assaults and rampages, 433 settlement activities, and 241 incursions. Assaults and rampages recorded the largest number of violations, while other activities included 138 thefts, 106 arson incidents, 86 closures, and 131 acts of vandalism targeting agricultural properties and facilities. The center also documented 50 shooting incidents, 48 cases of uprooting and damaging agricultural crops, and 4 attacks on holy sites. "Maa'ti" clarified that these figures reflect the expanding scope of settler attacks in the governorate, which have targeted the lives, property, and agricultural lands of Palestinians, alongside continued settlement expansion and incursions.
