Likud MK sets condition for Netanyahu: I will vote against

MK Moshe Saada from Likud stated that he will vote against the government headed by Netanyahu if Gadi Eisenkot receives the right to become prime minister as part of a rotation agreement. Saada also criticized the Religious Zionism campaign against the judicial system, calling it unworthy.

MK Moshe Saada from the Likud party issued unusually sharp criticism from within the ruling coalition. In an interview with Kan Moreshet radio, he stated that he would vote against the government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu if, as part of a rotation agreement, Gadi Eisenkot receives the right to become prime minister. Saada emphasized that a national unity government in which Eisenkot serves as prime minister under a rotation agreement with Likud is unacceptable to him. "I will vote against this government," the MK declared. He also directly questioned Eisenkot's suitability for the prime minister's office, stating: "Eisenkot does not deserve to be prime minister. Including as part of a rotation with Likud." Additionally, Saada criticized the Religious Zionism party's campaign against the judicial system, addressing its chairman Bezalel Smotrich: "Smotrich should not have done this. It is unworthy." Thus, Saada outlined two clear positions within his political camp: against rotation with Eisenkot and against the methods of criticizing the judicial system.
