Palestinian clans call for Friday to be a day of 'solidarity with Gaza and its victims'

The National Gathering of Palestinian Tribes, Clans, and Families called on the nation's masses to make tomorrow, Friday, a 'day of popular solidarity and anger with Gaza and its victims,' and to raise their voices in rejection of the ongoing killing and siege. This came during a vigil organized by the clans in front of the collapsed 'Saada' building in Gaza City, with the participation of a number of mukhtars, clan dignitaries, and the Civil Defense apparatus. The head of the gathering, Dr. Alaa al-Din al-Aklouk, affirmed that the disaster of the 'Saada' building collapse reveals the extent of the danger threatening thousands of Palestinian families who were forced to take shelter in cracked and dilapidated buildings, amid stalled reconstruction efforts and the absence of alternative housing. The gathering held the 'Peace Council and its president Donald Trump' politically and morally responsible for the continuation of the tragedy. For his part, the spokesperson for the Civil Defense, Major Mahmoud Basal, said that the 'Saada' building incident resulted in the martyrdom of 21 people and the rescue of 45 others, warning that there are about 2,000 buildings in the Gaza Strip in similar conditions.
