He called the film "blatant propaganda" and emphasized that he has no question about whom to believe — the IDF or the "left-wing extremists" who made the film. The politician was particularly outraged by the scene of a 24-minute ovation at the Venice Film Festival, which he compared to scenes from Orwell's novel. Lapid characterized those gathered at the screening not as film critics, but as a "sect" and advised them to watch the new season of the series "Fauda," dedicated to the events of October 7, suggesting that it might teach them something.
