Lali Drei, from the Amcha Yisrael party led by Avichai Vinter, spoke this morning (Wednesday) to Kan News and condemned a harsh pressure campaign against her party. According to her, the campaign includes phone calls at all hours, disgusting comments on social media, and signs in communities, including near children's transportation. Drei describes severe personal pressure: "They took my son out of the grave dozens of times to tell me how much I am betraying his memory." She calls on opponents to confront her about the party's plans instead of using these methods. Meanwhile, Shomron Council deputy head Davidi Ben Zion announced yesterday his resignation from the party, amid pressure and signs placed outside his home. In a statement he wrote: "My wife and children come first." Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the departure and called on others to resign to ensure the victory of the right-wing bloc. Minister Bezalel Smotrich also welcomed the move. Yosef Haddad, number 2 in the party, attacked the ugly campaign funded by huge budgets.
