Italy: Neo-Nazi network that praised Hitler and planned attack on synagogue and mosque exposed

Italian police have uncovered a neo-Nazi network involving 17 suspects, 14 of them minors, arrested in a widespread raid across several cities. The suspects operated in two online groups, spreading white supremacist content, praising Hitler, and planning attacks on a synagogue, a mosque, and a school. During the raids, authorities seized cold weapons, Nazi flags, and technological equipment.

According to the investigation, the suspects belonged to two online groups operating under the names "New European Order Chat" and "Italian Fascist Front." The groups disseminated Nazi propaganda, praised Hitler and the SS, and included anti-Semitic, racist, and homophobic discourse. Investigators found detailed guides for making homemade explosive devices, instructions for using cold and hot weapons, as well as manifestos of far-right terrorists who carried out mass shootings. Among the concrete threats raised in the groups were plans for attacks on a synagogue, a mosque, and a school, along with talk of a "mass reset." During the raids, knives, cold weapons, Nazi flags and objects, as well as phones and computers, were seized. The "Fascist Front" group had an internal hierarchy with ranks such as "Supreme Commander," "Secretary," "Blackshirt," and "SS Corporal." Recruitment for the groups was conducted via Telegram.
