Fatal accident on Highway 90: 60-year-old man killed, two seriously injured

A man about 60 years old was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 90, south of the Masua settlement. Five people were injured, including two in serious condition. The road was closed to traffic.

A man about 60 years old was killed this evening (Friday) in a serious traffic accident involving four vehicles on Highway 90, south of the Masua settlement and near Shlomzion. Five additional people were injured in the accident: two men aged about 60 and 40 in serious condition, a man about 30 in moderate condition, and two in light condition. The seriously injured were evacuated by a MDA-Hatzalah Air helicopter to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital; the moderately injured were evacuated by an IDF helicopter; the lightly injured were evacuated by ambulance. One of the vehicles was overturned with a man about 40 years old inside unconscious. Police opened an investigation; traffic accident investigators arrived at the scene. Highway 90 is blocked to traffic in both directions.
