Iran carried out a launch drill of dozens of ballistic missiles | Report

Reports in the global media claim that Iran's Revolutionary Guards today carried out a launch drill of about 30 ballistic and hypersonic missiles and Shahed 136 drones — for the first time since Operation "Roaring Lion" began. According to Bloomberg, Tehran has preserved weapons production capability, and a Western source claimed that Russia is supplying it with missiles.

Reports in the global media claim that Iran's Revolutionary Guards today (Sunday) carried out an extensive launch drill, for the first time since Operation "Roaring Lion" began. According to the reports, about 30 ballistic and hypersonic missiles were launched across Iran, as well as Shahed 136 drones, while air defense capabilities were also tested in the drill. A single report said that fighter jets were also tested. The reports come against the background of information that Iran succeeded in preserving factories and infrastructure for producing missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, despite the extensive strikes meant to damage its military capabilities. Western sources, speaking anonymously due to the sensitivity of the assessments, told Bloomberg that Tehran still has the ability to produce new weapons and to replenish stocks damaged in the war — an existing production capability, and not only a remaining stock. A Western source claimed that Russia is supplying Iran with missiles, in a way that may help the regime rehabilitate its military power. The claim matches intelligence assessments published in June. The Russian Defense Ministry did not respond to Bloomberg's request, and no official confirmation from Moscow has been published.
