The Central District Prosecutor's Office today (Monday) filed a serious indictment with the Lod District Court against a mathematics lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, approximately 60 years old from Petah Tikva. The defendant planned for over three years a widespread terrorist attack against hundreds of Arab and Bedouin citizens across the country, as well as against residents of East Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. He called his plan "A.Y.T. – The People Will Make Transfer," against the backdrop of the "Guardian of the Walls" events and the "Swords of Iron" war. The outline included deploying 72 attackers in 12 armed cells with pistols, rifles, and axes, who would raid Arab villages and mixed cities. In a guidance document, he ordered mass killing and wrote: "Do not have mercy even on their cruel and disgusting women and children." The defendant attempted to recruit the chairman of the "Zehot" party, Moshe Feiglin, and after he ignored him, sent him an extortion letter with threats. The investigation was conducted by the Central District Police, and the defendant took strict concealment measures. The prosecution requested his detention until the end of proceedings due to his dangerousness. A publication ban was imposed on his name.
