Rafael is expanding its operations at the Har Hotzvim campus in Jerusalem. Over the past year, the number of company employees at the site has grown significantly. During a visit to the site, it was reported that Rafael is expected to occupy the entire building on the campus by the end of next year, alongside relocating its subsidiary 'Batshela' by the end of this year. The move is intended to allow for continued expansion of the complex in the coming years and to increase the ability to recruit additional employees. This is alongside research and technological collaborations with the Hebrew University. Rafael's CEO, Yossi Shteinitz, noted that the company sees the Jerusalem site as a significant knowledge center, and that the decision to expand operations stems from Rafael's growth concept and the desire to connect with knowledge, research, and technological talent centers across the country. Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion said the expansion is a tremendous boon for residents and that the municipality will continue to work to bring additional companies and thousands of quality jobs to the city. The site spans approximately 20,000 square meters over seven floors and includes offices, development laboratories, and workspaces.
