Following the report on the opposition bloc's intention to replace Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, the "Yashar!" party led by Gadi Eisenkot has already marked its own candidate for the position. This was reported this evening (Tuesday) by i24NEWS Knesset correspondent Amiel Yerachi. The party assumed it would be the largest in the Knesset and therefore would choose the speaker. However, the "Yashar!" party denied the report: "There are several candidates with suitable experience for the position who will restore the Knesset to its rightful status as the house of representatives; we are not engaged in distributing roles."
