If Qatar really interfered in the elections - there is one person to start with | Ben Caspit

Ben Caspit argues that if Qatar interfered in the elections, Netanyahu's office's ties with Doha should be investigated. He lists the prevention of declaring Qatar an enemy, the apology to it, and the flooding of Gaza with money. According to him, Netanyahu is exploiting the suspicions to undermine the credibility of the elections.

Ben Caspit argues in his column in Maariv that if Qatar indeed interfered in the elections in Israel, the investigation should begin with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office. Caspit lists a series of ties between Netanyahu and Qatar: who prevented declaring Qatar an enemy state, who apologized to it, and who convinced the Emir of Qatar to flood Gaza with money. According to him, Netanyahu is exploiting the suspicions to undermine the credibility of the election results, and his insistence on meeting with the Police Commissioner on the eve of the elections takes on new meaning. Caspit concludes that even if votes from the Arab sector are disqualified, the balance of power between the blocs will not change.
