Former hostage Mia Shem published a moving message on Instagram today (Wednesday), three years after being kidnapped from the Nova music festival to the Gaza Strip. In her words, she thanked IDF soldiers and security forces: "To IDF soldiers, to the security forces, to everyone who fought, risked their lives, left home and family behind so that we could return home. I have no words sufficient to say thank you." Alongside her gratitude, she apologized to those who did not return: "I'm sorry we didn't manage to bring everyone back. I'm sorry to everyone who fell along the way." She added: "I came back. But I carry with me every day also those who didn't." She concluded her words with additional thanks and a call to remember the price: "The price that was paid so that we could be here — we must never forget. Never."
