The event aims to alleviate the accumulated professional and psychological pressures resulting from intensive field coverage and harsh working conditions during the years of aggression. In the opening speech, Ms. Warda al-Zabda, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Journalists' Bloc in western Gaza, emphasized the urgent need for such activities in light of the pressures left by years of war. Al-Zabda welcomed the new board members: Tamer Labad, Muhammad Dababesh, and Islam Abu Jayab, noting that the next phase will witness the implementation of training programs and various activities. Dr. Muhammad Dawood, head of the Professional Unions' Association in western Gaza, praised the bloc's efforts, stressing the importance of providing spaces for psychological support for journalists. Ms. Samira Nassar, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Palestinian Journalists' Bloc Board of Directors, commended the activity of the western Gaza branch, explaining that the bloc resumed its work immediately after the war stopped despite challenges. The interactive day included entertainment segments and psychological relief activities, with participants expressing the importance of this gesture in renewing their energy and enhancing social communication and professional solidarity.
