"Hamas": The occupation's crimes will not break our people's will and steadfastness

Hamas, in a statement marking the 11th anniversary of the Jerusalem Intifada, affirmed that the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers will not break the will or steadfastness of the Palestinian people. The movement called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and hold the occupation government accountable, stressing that the assault on Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa will be met with continued steadfastness and defense of Palestinian rights.

The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" affirmed on Thursday that the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers will not break the will of the Palestinian people or their steadfastness on their land. This came in a press statement by the movement on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the Jerusalem Intifada. Hamas called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and work to hold the occupation government and its leaders accountable. The movement pointed out that the Jerusalem Intifada, which began on October 1, 2015, represented a prominent struggle milestone, and came in the aftermath of the crime of burning the Dawabsha family by settlers in the Nablus governorate. It added that the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain, and that the assault on Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque will be met with continued steadfastness and defense of Palestinian rights. It considered that the crimes committed by the occupation constitute "complete crimes," stressing that the continued aggression in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem will not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people. The movement called on the international community to stop what it described as "Israeli terrorism" and hold the occupation leaders accountable. Hamas prayed for the souls of the martyrs, wished recovery for the wounded, and freedom for the prisoners.
