Benny Gantz, chairman of Blue and White, spoke this morning (Monday) at the "People of the State" conference of ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth and warned Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of Yashar, that Avigdor Liberman (Yisrael Beiteinu) and Naftali Bennett (Together) will demand the premiership and form a government with the Arab parties. Gantz said he is convinced that Eisenkot plans to be prime minister and will form a government with the Arab parties because he has no other solution, and that Liberman will do the same. According to Gantz, Liberman wanted to form a government with the Joint List in 2020. Gantz made clear he is running to the end despite polls predicting Blue and White will not pass the electoral threshold, and accused other candidates of "engineering consciousness" against his campaign. He called for the formation of a cross-bloc Zionist unity government.
