Gadi Eisenkot sharply attacked Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview with i24NEWS, calling him "a delusional person" and claiming he held his hand during the hours of panic after October 7. He pledged to eliminate Hamas within a year and a half and declared he would form a government with an absolute Zionist majority.
Three days before the elections, Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot intensified his attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview with i24NEWS. Eisenkot called Netanyahu "a delusional person" and claimed that in the first days after October 7, he had to "hold his hand during the hours of panic." He attacked the campaign signs reading "Right or Palestine" that featured his image, asking: "I am Palestine?! Shira Shapira, the mother of Aner, is Palestine?!" According to him, this is "the evil spirit" that Netanyahu brought to politics. Eisenkot pledged to eliminate Hamas within a year and a half, said Iran never possessed nuclear bombs, and called for eliminating Khamenei. He declared he would form a government with an "absolute Zionist majority" and not with Netanyahu or Mansour Abbas.
