Former IDF Spokesperson Reveals the Gap in Breaking the Silence's Spokesperson's Version

Harel Hershkovitz, a former IDF spokesperson, attacks the claims of Ayelet Kroizer, the new spokesperson for Breaking the Silence, that she was exposed to the distortion of information in the military. He argues that her field of work did not include drafting operational messages and demands concrete examples.

Harel Hershkovitz, a former member of the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, attacks the claims of Ayelet Kroizer, who joined the role of spokesperson for the organization "Breaking the Silence." Kroizer claimed in a post that during her service in the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, she was exposed to a gap between reality and how the military presents it to the public, and that she drafted messages in which the word "terrorist" was attached to innocent Palestinians. Hershkovitz claims that Kroizer served in the Economic Communications Desk and did not deal with drafting messages about attacks, and demands that she present concrete examples of her claims. He asks: "What details did you change and in which message? Who asked you to publish something you knew was not true?" Breaking the Silence responded that Kroizer also served as a spokesperson for the Ground Forces Division and the Strategic Division, and reinforced the spokespersons of maneuvering brigades in Gaza and the north. The organization accused Hershkovitz of trying to intimidate soldiers who dare to speak.
