Prof. Yossi Shain, an expert in international relations, warns of a paradigm shift in US-Israel relations. In an interview with 103FM, he explains that the special relationship, based on shared values and strategic needs, is under attack. According to him, there are those in the US who are undermining these values, not only in the Democratic Party but also in Trump's MAGA movement. Additionally, following the war in Iran, many in the US are developing theses that Israel is not a strategic partner but has taken over American interests. Shain expresses concern that even friends of Israel tell him "you will think tonight." He warns that if Trump starts a war because of Israel, he will be left without Congress, the Senate, and MAGA. Shain states that "there is no substitute for the alliance with America" and that China cannot be an alternative.
