A Florida man, Jerry Sneed, 31, was arrested for allegedly threatening a newly established Jewish residential community with a firearm in social media posts. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) began investigating Sneed earlier in October after receiving reports of threatening posts targeting a community in Glades County. Sneed was charged with written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, as well as unlawful use of a two-way communication device. During the arrest, he was found in possession of the firearm pictured in the posts. The residential community was established in October and is expected to include around 1,300 housing units, according to a Ynet report. The investigation remains active.
