Exclusive footage obtained by Channel 14 reveals five robbery incidents carried out using the same method by a single suspect, a resident of Ashkelon in his 40s. The incidents occurred at gas stations and a kiosk in the cities of Yavne and Ness Ziona. In each case, the suspect sprayed employees with tear gas, threatened them with a knife, and stole from the cash register. The first robbery took place about a month ago at the Dor Alon gas station in Yavne. Five days later, the suspect returned to the same station and committed another robbery. Three more days passed, and he arrived for the third time at the same station, where an employee confronted him and tried to drive him away. The suspect then moved to Ness Ziona, where he robbed another gas station, and in a separate incident, robbed a kiosk in Yavne. Police officers from the Yavne station in the Central District, under the command of Superintendent Amir Cohen, launched an investigation following the series of complaints. At the end of the investigative activity, the suspect was arrested, and an indictment was filed against him for five serious robbery incidents. In total, tens of thousands of shekels were stolen.
