Apple beats Q4 estimates in first full quarter under CEO John Ternus

Apple reported Q4 fiscal 2026 revenue of $114.5 billion, above analyst expectations, with iPhone sales leading growth. China revenue missed forecasts despite a 21% year-over-year increase, and iPad sales fell over 10%.

Apple reported its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, the first quarter under new CEO John Ternus. The company beat analyst expectations with revenue of $114.48 billion, 12% growth year-over-year, and earnings per share of $2.10 versus an expected $1.99. However, Apple disappointed in two key segments: revenue from China stood at $17.5 billion, below the expected $18.5 billion, and iPad sales contracted more than 10% to $6.22 billion. Apple's stock fell about 1% in after-hours trading, despite the company surpassing Nvidia in market value, standing at $4.938 trillion. The quarter included strategic launches such as the foldable iPhone, a collaboration with Meta on artificial intelligence, and a $5.7 billion patent infringement ruling against the company.
