Otzma Yehudit in talks to appoint Mordechai David as parliamentary assistant

Otzma Yehudit is in advanced talks with right-wing activist Mordechai David to appoint him as a parliamentary assistant or adviser in the Knesset, ahead of the swearing-in ceremony next Tuesday.

Ahead of the swearing-in of the Knesset next Tuesday, Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and the Otzma Yehudit party are conducting advanced negotiations with right-wing activist Mordechai David. According to a report by i24NEWS correspondents Nadav Elimelech and Yonatan Roveh on the 'Main Edition', David is designated for the role of parliamentary assistant to one of the party's Knesset members. This is a more significant position than a previous paid role David received in the party's youth headquarters. David made headlines in the past for blocking and harassing left-wing activists.
