More than six years after the shocking murder of Nivin Al-Amrani, a 21-year-old from Hura in the Negev, remains of her body have been found for the first time. A skull discovered in the Negev area about two weeks ago was identified as belonging to the young woman who was murdered by her brother in 2020. The murder occurred in the family home's yard in Hura, where her brother, Na'aman Al-Huwaiti, attacked her brutally, stabbed her, and slit her throat in front of their mother. After the murder, family members acted to conceal the body and obscure evidence, including by covering the crime scene with concrete. The case was exposed following a report by one of the brothers, and in May 2022, the murderer was sentenced to 28 years in prison as part of a plea deal. The victim's father and nephew were also prosecuted. The discovery of the remains now brings a significant development in the case, which was solved and led to a conviction even though her body was not found for years.
