Father of Yehuda Sherman furious: "The fake demolition of the terrorist's house encourages the next attack"
Security forces partially demolished the home of Da'us Hassoun, the terrorist who murdered Yehuda Sherman in March. Sherman's father, Yehoshua, harshly criticized the partial demolition, which he called a "fake demolition," and argued that it does not create deterrence and encourages further attacks. He demands that the demolition be completed to the ground.
Security forces last night (between Wednesday and Thursday) partially demolished the home of Da'us Hassoun, the terrorist who murdered Yehuda Shmuel Sherman on March 21, 2026, near the village of Beit Amerin in Samaria. Sherman's family harshly criticized the manner of the demolition and claimed that significant parts of the structure remained standing. According to the family, the demolition was carried out using a method in which walls on two floors of the building were destroyed, while the third floor remained intact. Yehoshua Sherman, Yehuda's father and a leader of the "Returning Home" forum, said the decision to carry out symbolic damage to the terrorist's home is "a disgrace and a real blow to state security." According to him, a "fake demolition" is a mockery of the authorities and a blow to bereaved families. He called on the security establishment to demolish the structure completely. The attack occurred after Hassoun spotted three Israelis traveling in the area, rammed their vehicle with force, and caused it to fall down a cliff. Sherman was killed at the scene and another person was injured.
