Eyal Eshel on the emerging election results: "A hard morning, was the voice of the female observers in vain?"

Eyal Eshel, father of fallen observer Roni Eshel, addressed the emerging election results in an interview with Kan Bet, calling the morning "hard for the sane voice in the country." He assessed that the prime minister might start a war on Iran to divert attention from the elections, and asked whether the voice of the female observers was in vain.

Eyal Eshel, father of observer Roni Eshel who fell at the Nahal Oz outpost on October 7, addressed the emerging election results this morning (Wednesday). In an interview with Kan Bet, Eshel said: "This is a hard morning, after October 7 people say 'here, we beat you again, no matter what happened - Bibi the king.'" He added that "this is such a hard hour for all of Israel - so many soldiers are turning in their graves given the results heading in a bad direction." Eshel assessed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might start a war on Iran to divert attention from the elections. He concluded with a question: "Was the voice of the female observers in vain?"
