The access road to Neot HaKikar (Road 2499) collapsed this morning (Wednesday) due to a massive boulder swept away in Nahal Tzin during the night, as part of the floods in southern Israel. The moshavim of Neot HaKikar and Ein Tamar were closed, and flow was also recorded in Nahal HaArava. According to reports, several roads in Eilat were also blocked. Yesterday, the rain system caused water flows in the Negev streams, including Nahal Hatira and the Nahal Mamshit area. The Meteorological Service warned of flood danger in the Negev streams, the Arava, the Judean Desert, and the Dead Sea area. The Nature and Parks Authority and rescue units warned the public not to enter stream channels during flow and to avoid approaching the stream bank.
