Dozens of ambassadors and diplomats attended the Ambassadors Club event marking six years of the Abraham Accords
The Ambassadors Club in Israel, led by Ambassador Yitzhak Eldan, held an event marking six years of the Abraham Accords. During the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to organizations and individuals working to strengthen civil, economic, and interfaith ties between Israel and regional countries. Recipients included the founders of ViaCity, the Vice President of the Israel-Morocco Chamber of Commerce, founders of the Interfaith Center in Jerusalem, the founder of WeAreMENA, and the creator of Women Champions for Change. Moroccan artist Anas Belhachmi performed with musician Elon Berger.
The Ambassadors Club in Israel, led by Ambassador Yitzhak Eldan, held an event last evening marking six years of the Abraham Accords under the title "Voices from the Field." The event was held in cooperation with the Israel-Morocco Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ViaCity – the Center for Urban Diplomacy. During the event, members of the diplomatic community in Israel were introduced to initiatives and activities led by organizations working to strengthen ties between regional countries and build bridges between peoples. The Ambassadors Club awarded certificates of appreciation to event partners and representatives of organizations and initiatives working to promote civil, economic, and interfaith ties in the region. Recipients included: Moran Borenstein and Einat Levy, founders of ViaCity; Prof. Daniel Roash, Vice President of the Israel-Morocco Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Rabbi Dr. Yaakov Meir Nagan and Rabbi Dr. Aharon Ariel Lavi, founders of the Interfaith Center in Jerusalem; Tom Wiesel, founder and CEO of the WeAreMENA network; and Stav Bar-Shani, co-creator of Women Champions for Change. International Moroccan artist Anas Belhachmi, who came especially to Israel for the event, performed together with musician Elon Berger, expressing the cultural and human connection created between Israel and regional countries as a result of the accords.
