An Arab suspect who disguised himself as a Jew with tzitzit was arrested last night (Wednesday) along with another suspect in the Beit HaKerem neighborhood of Jerusalem, on suspicion of attempting to steal a vehicle. Around 3:00 AM, a patrol team from the Moriah station noticed a car parked in the dark for an extended period with its lights off. The officers blocked the vehicle and discovered that a small front window had been smashed. The suspect was sitting in the driver's seat wearing tzitzit, with the female suspect beside him. A car computer was placed on the back seat. During the operation, police seized a duplicated key and a phone in Arabic. In the female suspect's bag, a substance suspected to be cannabis was found. The suspects, aged 35 to 40, residents of Jerusalem and Afula, were brought to court, which extended their detention until Sunday. Police stated their intention to prosecute them to the fullest extent.
