Three daycare workers in Ariel charged with abusing toddlers
Israeli police filed charges against three daycare workers in Ariel for physically and psychologically abusing over ten toddlers. Security cameras documented hundreds of violent incidents. The suspects reportedly described their actions as 'Soviet education'.
A prosecutor's statement was filed today (Wednesday) in court against three employees of the 'Gan Lutzik' daycare in Ariel, ahead of a serious indictment for physical and psychological abuse of minors and helpless individuals. An investigation of security cameras revealed over 600 documented violent incidents against more than ten toddlers, including helpless infants. The case came to light after an animal workshop instructor reported a caregiver locking an infant in a dark room. The suspects tried to justify their actions by claiming it was 'Soviet education'. The daycare was closed for 60 days, and the police continue to investigate additional incidents from the past year.
