Chairman of the Amcha Israel party, Ofer Vinter, gave a statement to the media in which he harshly attacked right-wing elements that he claims are running a smear campaign and threats against the party and its members. Vinter claimed that the campaign is funded by tens of millions of shekels from the state budget, and that in recent days a red line was crossed when signs were hung in the settlements of party members. He attributed the resignation of Davidi Ben Zion to the pressures exerted on him and his family, and said that Ben Zion and his wife could no longer withstand it. Vinter clarified that his party will not surrender and will continue its race to the Knesset, using the phrase "I will not bow and I will not prostrate." He warned against a return to the public discourse that preceded October 7. Party members Lali Deri and Netali Shem Tov also condemned the personal attacks, with Deri addressing "keyboard bullies" and Shem Tov claiming that senior politicians are fighting the party in violent and despicable ways.
