Clashes and shouting in court: Remand extended for suspects in Binyahu Razi murder

The Jerusalem District Court today (Monday) extended the remand of Agam Tzrafi, Shilat Huta, and four minors accused of murdering Binyahu Razi, which occurred in the Nahlaot neighborhood. During the hearing, verbal clashes erupted between the families of the defendants and Razi's family. Razi's mother, Dekla, confronted Huta's mother: "You are talking to your daughter and I can't talk to my son." In response, the parents shouted at her: "We will sue you, the truth will come out." Linor Sasson's defense attorney, accused of aiding after the fact and obstruction of justice, requested her release to house arrest with electronic monitoring, since she is not accused of the murder itself. The prosecution opposed the request due to her criminal record. The judge has not yet made a decision and may first request a probation service report. The next hearing for Tzrafi and Huta is set for October 19, when the court will decide whether to extend their remand until the end of proceedings. The minors' hearing was postponed by two months. The indictment charges Tzrafi, Huta, and the minors with intentional murder as a group. Sasson is charged with aiding and obstruction. According to the suspicion, Tzrafi and Huta motivated, initiated, and encouraged the event that led to the murder, even though they were not physically present during the attack.
