At the JNS International Policy Summit, Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli advocated for arming Jewish community security forces globally, arguing that armed guards can prevent attacks and save lives. He contrasted security rules in Australia, where guards were unarmed during a deadly beach attack. Chikli criticized Canadian authorities for ignoring his warnings and failing to curb antisemitism and radical Islamist threats. He linked rising hostility in Canada, Australia, and the US to their recognition of Palestinian statehood amid Israel's war with Hamas. Chikli defended Trump as a strong ally, opposed easing sanctions on Iran, and warned against a new axis of Turkey, Pakistan, and Qatar. He also attacked former PM Naftali Bennett, calling him the 'Madoff of Israeli politics,' and stressed the importance of a united right-wing coalition.
