The Loyalty and Reform Party in the Palestinian interior calls for vigilance and caution after the disclosure of an indictment against a mathematics lecturer at Bar Ilan University, who planned to carry out terrorist attacks against Palestinians in the occupied interior, including recruiting 72 Jewish terrorists and launching surprise attacks in mixed cities and Arab towns.
The Loyalty and Reform Party in the Palestinian interior called for vigilance and caution after the disclosure of an indictment against a mathematics lecturer at Bar Ilan University, in his sixties and from Petah Tikva. The indictment, revealed by Yedioth Ahronoth, accuses the lecturer of preparing a plan called "The People Will Carry Out a Displacement Operation," aimed at killing and displacing as many Palestinian citizens as possible in the occupied interior. The plan includes recruiting 72 Jewish terrorists into 12 cells, at least half of whom hold weapons licenses, to launch surprise attacks in mixed cities and Arab towns using pistols, rifles, axes, and hammers. The plan also included obtaining support from elements within the Israeli army, including bombing Arab population centers. The defendant attempted over about a year and a half to recruit supporters without success, and conducted a reconnaissance tour around the town of Tuba Zangaria. The report is based on the party's statement and the indictment published by the Hebrew newspaper.
