Also on this date, care benefits, alimony, and benefits for Zion prisoners have been moved forward. Earlier, on September 8, ahead of Rosh Hashanah, unemployment and subsistence benefits were paid early. Reporting deadlines and insurance premium payments for employers and the self-employed remain unchanged—September 15. In 2026, benefit amounts were revised to reflect a 2.64% increase in the consumer price index. The average payment across various programs after the update is about 5,280 shekels, but the actual amount depends on the specific program, family composition, and recipient's age.
