The Houthis' warning to Saudi Arabia's partners: "We will tame them too"

A senior leader of the Houthi terrorist organization in Yemen, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, threatened Turkey and Pakistan, Saudi Arabia's partners in the "Mecca Alliance." In an interview with "i News" channel, al-Bukhaiti said: "If Turkey or Pakistan intervene, we will strike them with an iron fist. Just as we are taming Saudi Arabia today, we will tame them too." When asked about the Pakistani defense minister's statement on the possible activation of the agreement, he dismissed it, claiming that Pakistan has patience and they are not responding. The remarks come amid Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia. In early August, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey signed the "Mecca Alliance," a mutual defense agreement. Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif warned last week that the agreement could be activated if the attacks continue. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia. Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, appealed to Iran to rein in the Houthis.
