MK Boaz Bismuth (Likud) attacked the opposition in an interview with Radio North 104.5FM, claiming its sole goal is to topple Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, regardless of the candidate. "First it was Lapid, then Bennett, now it's Eisenkot, and tomorrow it could be the toaster I have in my kitchen. It doesn't matter who — the main thing for them is to topple Netanyahu," he said. Bismuth defended the conscription law he advanced, emphasizing that change must be gradual to prevent civil war. He stated that the highlight of his life was the enlistment of his daughters, and expressed hope that this would also come for the Haredim. Bismuth was asked about the renewal of confrontation with Iran and the situation on various fronts, and claimed enormous achievements: "We crushed the Iranian axis, ended the nuclear threat — we smashed Hamas and Hezbollah." He stressed that the policy of rounds has ended, and the prime minister wants a decisive outcome. Toward the end of the interview, Bismuth expressed confidence in Likud's victory in the elections, and claimed that the political boycotts of recent years led to instability.
