Bracha Manor (Mankuta), who died at the age of 107, was the oldest resident of Kiryat Motzkin. She passed away last week. Manor, a Holocaust survivor, was born on January 15, 1919 in Poland as Brana Kleiner, just months after World War I. She survived the Holocaust and immigrated to Israel in 1947, about a year before the establishment of the state. She first lived on Kibbutz Galil Yam, then in Kiryat Haim, and finally settled in Kiryat Motzkin. Mayor Tziki Avishar announced her passing in his weekly update to residents, after speaking with her daughter Rachel. Avishar described her life story as "the story of the revival of us all." The shiva is being held at the family home at 3A Levi Eshkol Street in Kiryat Motzkin.
