The Be'er Sheva District Court sentenced 30-year-old Doron Bokobza, a former court guard, to three years in prison for contacts with an agent of a hostile state. According to the case materials, Bokobza maintained contact with an Iranian agent nearly two years ago. During their communication, he told his handler that he had access to the Dimona reactor. In exchange for payment received in digital currency amounting to thousands of shekels, Bokobza carried out a series of tasks: he forwarded a post by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and published posts calling for the release of hostages Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or, claiming to be acquainted with them. The sentence was handed down for espionage in favor of Iran.
