In an interview with Channel 14, Ari Steinberg, CEO of the Ashmorat Group, reveals a plan to establish an online supermarket intended for club members, teachers who are members of the Teachers' Union. The supermarket is expected to offer basic products at discounts of tens of percent, with home delivery, in cooperation with a large import and logistics company. Steinberg estimates that the monthly savings from the supermarket alone will be 500 to 800 shekels, and combined with existing benefits (a rechargeable card, discounts at food chains, benefits for vacations and shows) could reach thousands of shekels per month. The model is based on leveraging the purchasing power of hundreds of thousands of teachers. Ashmorat holds 49% of Bank Massad and operates a free credit card for teachers. Alongside the supermarket, the group also operates in the field of purchasing equipment for schools and plans to enter the field of teacher training with AI tools. The club itself will remain closed to the general public and will be designated only for teachers.
