Serious accident in Haifa: car overturns, 81-year-old man seriously injured

An 81-year-old man was seriously injured in a car accident in Haifa after his vehicle overturned. Another 25-year-old man was moderately injured. Both were evacuated to Rambam Hospital.

An 81-year-old man was seriously injured this morning (Thursday, October 8, 2026) in a car accident involving two vehicles on Aryeh Shenkar Street in Haifa. One of the vehicles overturned onto its side. Another man, about 25 years old, was moderately injured. Both were evacuated to Rambam Hospital for medical treatment. MDA reported that the call was received at the 101 emergency center at 11:12 AM. Medics and paramedics provided treatment to both injured individuals at the scene. The elderly man suffers from a head injury and his condition is defined as serious, while the young man suffers from multi-system trauma and his condition is moderate. MDA emergency medic Tomer Danino said that both injured individuals were fully conscious and suffered from bodily injuries. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
