The Jerusalem Faction announced protests – these are the routes that may be blocked

The Committee for the Salvation of the Torah World declared protests following the arrest of yeshiva students and married Torah scholars by the IDF and police. Organizers warn of severe traffic disruptions on Highway 4, at the entrances to Jerusalem, and on access routes to Ben Gurion Airport. The protests are expected to begin at 4:00 PM during rush hour.

The Committee for the Salvation of the Torah World, on behalf of the Jerusalem Faction, announced widespread protests to be held today (Thursday) in the Jerusalem and Gush Dan areas. The protests follow the arrest of yeshiva students and married Torah scholars by the IDF and police in recent days. Organizers warn of severe traffic disruptions on Highway 4, mainly in the Bnei Brak area, Geha Junction, and Ganot Interchange, as well as on Highways 1 and 6. In the Jerusalem area, disruptions are expected at the city entrance, the Chords Bridge, the Sar Shalom Junction, and Bar Ilan Street, and the light rail may also be affected. Organizers call on travelers to Ben Gurion Airport to arrive early due to plans to block access routes to the airport and the railway line, as happened during the massive protest last June. The protests are expected to gather starting at 4:00 PM, during the rush hour of returning from work. The decision to take to the streets was made on the direct orders of the leader of the Jerusalem Faction, Rabbi Azriel Auerbach.
