This is not the first such incident at Air Canada: the airline previously suspended and then fired a Boeing 787 pilot for radical anti-Israel posts. Boudreau's suspension came a day after Air Canada announced an early return to Israel. The first flight on the Tel Aviv-Toronto route is scheduled for November 30, 2026, rather than January 17, 2027, as originally planned. During the winter season, the airline intends to operate four flights per week.
