IDF prepares the next generation: Youth in the South on their way to meaningful service

The IDF preparation center in Eilat held a preparatory day for the Sayerot recruitment day, where teenagers faced physical and mental challenges ahead of meaningful service. Meanwhile, in Dimona, more than a thousand students from 11th and 12th grades from Dimona, Mitzpe Ramon, and Yeruham participated in an IDF exposure day, with the participation of the Mitav commander. The center in Eilat is operated by the Education Department of the Eilat Municipality in cooperation with schools, the IDF, and the Ministry of Defense, offering activities, workshops, and preparation for meaningful service. In Dimona, the IDF preparation unit of the Magen array in the Education and Youth Corps "Mitav" led the day, which included lectures, a display of corps, virtual reality simulations, and conversations with a combat commander. The activities were designed to encourage meaningful enlistment and quality service.
