Two days ago, it was reported that the IDF warns that friction incidents between Israelis and Palestinians could ignite the area. Following situation assessments, the situation was defined as "explosive" and liable to deteriorate into escalation. Consequently, it was decided to reinforce forces around settlements and main axes with 26 battalions in the Central Command, including nine combat companies for reinforcement.
