Hours after the publication on ynet about the injustice done to Banchi, 22, who was separated from her 5-year-old brother after he witnessed the murder of their mother Anania Kalb in Be'er Sheva, the dispute with the Ministry of Welfare was resolved and the child will return to the family. This evening (Thursday), Lili Ben Ami from the Michal Sela Forum updated that Banchi will receive visitation time with her little brother, tomorrow she will take him for the entire weekend, and on Sunday he will move to her permanently. After the child witnessed the shocking murder on the night between Saturday and Sunday, welfare department workers in the municipality decided to transfer him to an emergency center and separate him from Banchi, despite the severe trauma he experienced. Since then, she has been visiting him daily, and she wants to be the one to raise him and his 16-year-old sister from now on. Earlier, she told ynet about the difficult feelings: "At welfare they said it's impossible to return him here because he went through trauma." According to her, the welfare officials presented her with a fact: "'Either you put him in an emergency institution, or he stays with one of the aunts.' At that moment the aunts couldn't, so I had no choice. I never said I don't want to raise him, because I'm sitting shiva. I want to be with my brother. All the time." The suspect in the murder of Anania, 38, who was stabbed with a knife, is her husband, Banchi's father. The daughter said that the police had come to her mother's apartment several times in the past following reports of violence: "She said 'he's the father of my children and I don't want to do anything to him.' He behaved violently in the past, including pulling out knives. Also against us. Every time the police came, Mom decided not to file a complaint. And so it continued until that day (of the murder)."
